Prof. Iqbal Ahmed Khan is remembered for his wisdom, compassion, and deep commitment to humanity. His
life’s mission was to nurture progressive thought and raise awareness about the social and political
responsibilities that shape our society.
As a devoted educator and visionary, he lived a life of integrity — preferring service over material
gain. His simplicity was his strength, and his true wealth lay in the lives he touched and transformed.
To honor his legacy, a group of his close friends — including doctors, educationists, special educators,
social workers, and family members — established the Special Education Trust on 12th August 1997. The
Trust continues his mission by educating and rehabilitating children with physical and mental
challenges, empowering them with knowledge, confidence, and skills for life.
Today, his vision lives on in every child who learns, grows, and smiles through this institution. His
